Increased carbon dioxide levels, air and water pollution, habitat destruction and species extinction are all evidence that human activities are operating beyond the capacity of natural systems to maintain balance. The City of Puyallup recognizes the importance of environmental stewardship. Managing our resources, whether it is the land we inhabit, water we drink, the air we breathe or the power we consume, all of these affect the quality of our lives everyday. It’s important that everyone manage these resources wisely.
