City of Puyallup - Pioneer Park Pavillon

Live Solar Electric Generation

Pioneer Park Pavillion

Through the Pioneer Park Pavilion Solar Energy Project, the City of Puyallup strives to create good stewards of the future, by exposing the community to programs and buildings that promote sustainability. The solar panels on the roof of the Pavilion produce clean energy and the interactive display provides a means to learn about that energy production and conservation using real-time data. The photovoltaic (PV) system features a 9.5 kW generating structure installed on the Pioneer Park Pavilion building across the street from Puyallup City Hall. A total of 54 photovoltaic modules are installed on the roof of the Pavilion, which provides for the most optimal energy production with its relationship towards the sun.
