Greenwood Elementary School's photovoltaic system was first installed in October 2002, making Greenwood Elementary the first Seattle Green Power project to start generating clean, renewable, solar electricity. Solar 4R Schools repaired the inverter, installed a data monitoring system, and provided educators with activity guides and science kits.
