Major League Soccer and Continental Tire

MLS W.O.R.K.S. Greener Goals, Continental Tire, and the Bonneville Environmental Foundation are joining forces to benefit the environment and our communities.

Through the Bonneville Environmental Foundation's Solar 4R Schools program, the partnership will provide a solar electric demonstration project to a school in the community of the MLS Cup winner.

Congratulations to the 2011 MLS Cup winners: the Los Angeles Galaxy!  Applications for worthy schools were collected during November.  Application review and site surveys are under way now.

The installation is scheduled to be completed by Earth Week in April of 2012 and will kick off the campaign for the next solar installation in one MLS community in 2013.
