About the School:

In 2013, the City of Bandon, Oregon installed a 7.5-kilowatt photovoltaic (PV) system onto a covered parking structure at their city offices. Energy monitoring services and equipment provided to the City by Solar 4R Schools in order to connect real-time performance data from their existing PV system and a nearby electric vehicle charging station to the Energy Exploration Center at This project underscores the City's commitment to sustainability, community engagement and education.
