Brightwater’s Environmental Education and Community Center is designed to be a USGBC LEED Platinum certified energy efficient structure that will host comprehensive environmental programs. These programs develop a citizen’s knowledge of all the goods and services needed by our community to foster and sustain a healthy environment. Our 3.2 kW Silicon Energy array (composed solely of Washington State-made solar panels and equipment) coupled with the interactive display and energy curriculum is an ideal tool for demonstrating renewable energy production and conservation.
