The East Portland Community Center Solar project was developed by the following project team: Commercial Solar Ventures, Sentry Financial Corporation, the City of Portland Parks Department, Bonneville Environmental Foundation, BEF Renewable Inc., EC Company and Gen Con, Inc. Financial contributors to the project include Portland General Electric, US Bank and the Energy Trust of Oregon. Our goal in development of this and future projects is to provide public entities like the City of Portland with a tool to develop on-site solar generation. The project owner, East Portland Solar, LLC, is partnering with Bonneville Environmental Foundation to provide renewable energy education classes which will be available to all age groups through the community center.
