The Hazen High School 2.02 kW solar installation was completed in March of 2010 and is located on the south wall of the school near the entrance creating a visible example that the Renton School District is committed to exploring renewable energy resources. The power generated from the array meets the energy needs of an LED exterior lighting project at the school. This project was funded by a grant from Puget Sound Energy.
