In October of 2011, Idaho Arts Charter School received a 1.792 kW solar-electric system on the roof of the high school addition. The project was funding by Idaho Power's voluntary Green Power Program. The photovoltaic system consists of fourteen 128-Watt Uni-Solar thin-film modules, making it the first Solar 4R Schools project in Idaho to use stick-down laminate solar technology.
