In October of 2011, Idaho Arts Charter School received a 1.792 kW photovoltaic (PV) system on the roof of the high school addition. The project was funding by Idaho Power's voluntary Green Power Program. The photovoltaic system consists of fourteen 128-Watt Uni-Solar thin-film modules, making it the first Solar 4R Schools project in Idaho to use self-adhesive laminate solar technology.
