In 2012 multiple partners came together through the ecological charity concert series Ecopalooza.  Through generous funding by Gunderson, a Greenbrier Company and Pacific Power's Blue Sky renewable energy program, Jason Lee School joins nearly a dozen PV installations at Portland Public Schools assisted by BEF's Solar 4R Schools program. Live power and weather data is available on the web and at this kiosk. Students and teachers will also benefit from this data, available lesson plans, and donated teaching materials and teacher training.
