Lynnwood High School

Lynnwood High School

Lynnwood High School (LHS) is a comprehensive public high school serving grades 9 – 12.

One of our school-wide initiatives at LHS is to encourage students to be stewards of their local and global environment. Students in 9th grade at LHS take an introductory science course called Integrated Physical Science. This course teaches students about energy transfers and transformation, energy resources both renewable and non renewable, and how energy usage affects our environment; i.e. global warming.  Lynnwood High School received renewable classroom materials and a teacher training through a grant from Snohomish County PUD's Planet Power program.
