Tillamook PUD

In 2012 the Tillamook PUD installed a solar demonstration project at their main office. This system is visible to the public and will be available as an educational tool. The system is comprised of all Oregon-made products from the SolarWorld PV modules made in Hilsboro, the PV Powered DC-AC power inverter made in La Pine, to the SunStorage parking shelter made in Enterprise. These products could all be part of a residential or business installation and have been installed to model all PUD code requirements. In addition, live solar production and weather data was added in 2013 to allow Tillamook area students and visitors to check array performance on the web and at a touch-screen interactive kiosk located in the PUD lobby.
