A Call to Action

The mission of The Evergreen School is to inspire and empower our students to lead with curiosity, compassion and courage in an ever-evolving global community.  Evidence shows that humans are currently stressing our natural systems beyond their capacities.   Rising carbon dioxide levels, habitat destruction, and species extinction are all signs that our global community needs better energy and environmental solutions. 
 
Schools play a key role in responding to these challenges, by helping to educate a citizenry that has the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become active participants in developing and carrying out solutions.  The Evergreen School is committed to creating good stewards of the future by exposing students to programs and information , including this renewable energy project, that promote sustainability.
