Del Pueblo School

The 1.1 kW solar-electric system installed at Del Pueblo Elementary School was donated to the school as part of the 2006 Legacy Adopt-A-School project and provides a teaching, research and hands-on demonstration opportunity for students. The project was the result of a collaborative effort between BEF and the American Solar Energy Society (ASES). The system is supplemented by a curriculum package, as well as a web-based monitoring system that provides real-time access to the system's performance data from any internet-enabled computer. This project was possible thanks to the generous support of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES). The project installation was led by a "Women in Solar" committee of their 2007 annual conference.
